About Darren

Darren is best known for his steadfast dedication to his faith, family, and friendships. Florida has been home to Darren and his family for more than 40 years. After serving honorably in the U.S. Navy and as a Gulf War veteran, he returned to Florida and settled in the Gainesville community. Like many others, Darren and his wife first moved to Gainesville to pursue their college education, quickly falling in love with the city’s warm hospitality, cultural diversity, educational excellence.
